Here are some of the installation errors we have seen and what to do about them.
Command line tools
If installing via
xcode-select does not work you can download via the web.
Visit the Apple Developer Downloads Page
Download and install the latest Command Line Tools for Xcode package for your operating system.This requires you to register for an Apple Developer account.
Could not find i18n-0.7.0 in any of the sources
% ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" Could not find i18n-0.7.0 in any of the sources Run `bundle install` to install missing gems.
Switching to system Ruby from a newer Ruby fixed this:
rvm use system
It appears Homebrew is already installed.

Fix by upgrading node:
brew upgrade node
